A for Apple

Kinder Garden classes started. Annie Teacher started the first step of education with English Alphabets. From the open book, she read “A for Apple”. A big board with the picture of apple was shown to the little kids. She said, “This is how the apple looks like. We eat the apple and it is very tasty. Is anyone here who has not eaten an apple yet?” Little Joe stood up and said, “I never ate it teacher.” And the teacher said, “Go home and ask your mom to give you an apple”. Joe did see how apple looks like and heard and understood that it is sweet and good for health. After the first day of class, Joe got back home and asked his mom to give him an apple. Mom was very happy to hear Joe’s request and bought him one. He tasted it and understood that it is very tasty. Joe had a chance to read and understand about the apple, and also to feel, touch and taste it.

We study, hear and listen to the Word of God on Sundays and every other time when possible. Is it just intellectual, or even intellectual? Is it in our hearts? Have we tried to feel Christ, to touch Christ and to taste Christ? The tradition of Christian belief and faith was not transferred from one century to another through dogmas and doctrines, but through the faithful who touched, felt and tasted Lord Jesus Christ. May Lord guide us in touching, feeling and tasting Him.

I think it also need to include that in this travel as individuals and together as Curch , we need to encourage and help one another to prod along with faith that we have a fellow brother on this journey whom we can ask and God whom we can ask 'Help' .
